Wine tasting to benefit autism center
DARTMOUTH — Kavanaugh’s La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries and Cardoza’s Wine & Spirits of Faunce Corner Road will host a wine tasting to benefit Gottschall Autism Center.
The center is a nonprofit agency that plans to build an environmentally friendly campus in Southeastern Massachusetts to provide those who have autism an individualized biomedical and nutritional program, as well as an educational program for parents and families. In addition, autistic adults can receive job training and employment opportunities there.
The wine tasting will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kavanaugh’s, 110 Faunce Corner Road.
The wines will be furnished by Cardoza’s. Hors d’oeuvres will be served and music will be provided by members of the Dartmouth High School Chamber Orchestra.
